Introduction to
Waterfall Ice Climbing
Explore the steep, frozen world of New Hampshire’s frozen waterfalls. We will start with basic skills of crampon and ice axe use and belaying, and then progress to more advanced techniques, including efficient movement on steep ice, placing and removing ice screws, and techniques for climbing multi-pitch routes. This course can be taken on its own, or as a follow-up to our Introduction to winter Mountaineering. 2 or 3 days.

Alpine Ice Climbing
Put your climbing skills to the test while learning to climb longer routes that include  longer approaches, snow climbing, ice climbing, and time above treeline.  The itinerary will be based on your previous experience and goals, but will normally include at least one day climbing in Huntington Ravine.  You will learn about a variety of climbing skills necessary for alpine routes, as well as basic avalanche awareness. 2 or 3 days.

Guided Climbs
Whether you want to go out climbing for one day or multiple days, guided climbs are a great way to get more experience at the type of climbing you're interested in. We can suggest a climb suited to your ability and experience, or climb the route you've been dreaming of.
